Vessel Brand, a newcomer to the vape scene, has unveiled a brand new line of vape pen batteries designed in California. These new pens, which are designed to work with 510 cartridges, bring together an array of modern features, including knurled grip, variable voltage, and magnetic charging. Add to this an extra layer of protection that you’d be hard pressed to find elsewhere and you have the making of a Vessel vape pen battery.
Currently, there are three distinct series to choose from, each of which plays host to a variety of different color schemes for vapers to choose from. First, there’s the Expedition series, which is where you’ll find the knurled grip (anti-slip) batteries. Then there’s the Wood series and Style series. With so many different styles and color schemes to choose from, vapers who like vape pens are almost certain to find a look and feel that fits their preference.
Escalating things a bit for some of their competitors, Vessel Brand took a hi-tech approach to charging with a magnetically connected USB charging cord that snaps into place with the power of magnets. This way, if you’re unfortunate enough to snag the cord, it won’t rip out and damage anything, but will simply disconnect as the magnets casually give in to the force.
Taking durability quite seriously, these new vape batteries offer a layer of protection that you may not see anywhere else. Both the bottom of the vape where the charging cord connects and the top threads where the cartridge screws in are protected by metal sleeves, making them that much more difficult to damage.
Voltage options range from what is essentially “low” at 2.8V to “high” at 3.6V with a 3.2V setting in the middle. This gives vapers a bit of wiggle room ranging from 2.8 to 3.6 volts, allowing for lighter or heavier vapor depending on which setting is used.
