For do-it-yourself vape juice mixing, there are a number of helpful apps out there designed to help vapers keep track of all of their e-liquid recipes. The latest in this series of DIY e-liquid mixing apps from various developers is the Custom E-Liquid Recipes App For DIY Mixing.

This new app, which is made by UK vape shop VapeKit, takes into account the fact that many vapers who dabble in homemade e-juice and want to save their recipes need to be able to input custom ingredients, which is just one of the features that the app offers. Vapers who are breaking out of the ordinary with their own e-liquid concoctions will find the ability to add their own unique ingredients handy.

While the app uses percentages to keep track of how much of each ingredient to use, one notable downside is the inability to input ingredient amounts in other measures, such as the milligrams. But for those who are content with dividing up their recipes ingredients into percentages of a whole, this app should work just fine.

Once an ingredient has been added, the amount measured in percent format can be adjusted in 1% increments. It’s also possible to enter in the exact percentage manually, which can be considerably faster in some instances.

App users can set custom names for each individual recipe and all of their recipes are accessible from the app’s home screen.

DIY E-Liquid Mixing

For hardcore vapers who want a purely custom vaping experience, the only option is to create e-liquids from scratch. Well, not exactly from scratch, but from supplies purchased in bulk. As it turns out, common e-liquid ingredients like flavoring, PG, VG, and nicotine can all be purchased in bulk and the potential for savings is great as these ingredients when purchased on their own and in bulk are often significantly cheaper than they are when they’re purchased in the form of premade e-liquids.

An even simpler version of this exists in mixing premade e-liquids. For example, one can take a strawberry e-liquid from one brand and mix it with a menthol e-liquid from another to create a strawberry ice that hits all the right notes. Even in instances like this VapeKit’s app is handy as it allows for the two ingredients and their amounts to be quickly and easily saved for future use.
