Slang Worldwide, a Canadian marijuana company backed by Canopy Growth, has acquired Firefly Vapor, makers of Firefly brand portable vaporizers. And now, the company has launched a new vaporizer, the Firefly 2+, which is an upgraded version of the Firefly 2 vaporizer.
The Firefly 2+ is a dynamic convection vaporizer designed for use with dry herbs and extracts. Unlike other vaporizers on the market today, the 2+ increases its vaping temperature while it’s in use. This means that when the user draws on the device, the temperature rises until it reaches the user’s set maximum temperature.
The temperature range spans from 200°F to 500°F. By Firefly Vapor’s account, this means that the 2+ has the widest temperature range of any portable vaporizer.
One area where prior Firefly vapes have excelled is heat up time. The new version, the 2 Plus, is no exception, as it offers a heat up time of just 3 seconds. And it cools down just as quick, ensuring fresh vapor with every hit.
Improving upon its predecessors, the 2+ offers 33% enhanced airflow, making it easier to puff on by reducing the amount of draw-resistance that users experience.
The Firefly 2+ boasts a borosilicate glass bowl, laser drilled microjets, fresh air intake, capacitive touch sensor, magnetic lid, magnesium alloy chassis, glass vapor path, and removable mouthpiece.
To control the vaporizer, Firefly offers a free iOS and Android app, which is kept up to date with automatic firmware updates.
